This course is an introduction to diagnostic functions and resources; the course is available for the Car, Truck and Bike software platforms. This course is based around IDC4 software for NAVIGATOR TXT/ TXB. Also covered are tool operations and functions, vehicle selection, system identification, vehicle communication and software updates. The course covers both theory and practical, giving the Technician lots of opportunity to put into practice what they have learned throughout the training course.

This training course has been developed for technicians to diagnose and repair electrical components on Cars, Trucks and Bikes. For technicians to diagnose and successfully repair faults on modern electronic systems, they need to have a good understanding of how these systems work. The aim of the training course is to give the technician a better understanding of electricity, electronics, electronic components and test procedures which can be applied in the workplace to make fault finding and diagnostics easier. The course covers both theory and practical, giving the technician opportunity to practically apply the theory covered during the course.

The aim of the training course is to give the technician a better understanding of the Oscilloscope and its function and application. The course explains sensor input signals, ECU output signals and test procedures which can be applied in the workplace to make fault finding and diagnostics easier.

This training course has been developed for technicians in the truck industry, dealing with Air Brake Systems. The course covers the principles of air brake technology, system identification and testing, leading to a better understanding of the Air Brake System. We can then look into how ABS (Antilock Braking Systems) can be applied to the braking system, the theory behind it and how to test the system. The course covers both theory and practical, giving the Technician plenty of opportunity to practice what they have learned throughout the course.
