TexaEdu - Vehicle Diagnostic Training
The object of these courses is to assist Technicians to gain the most from their specific tool and associated software, to ensure efficient use of the Texa equipment and all its functions and features.
This course is an introduction to diagnostic functions and resources; the course is available for the Car, Truck and Bike software platforms. This course is based around IDC4 software for NAVIGATOR TXT/ TXB. Also covered are tool operations and functions, vehicle selection, system identification, vehicle communication and software updates. The course covers both theory and practical, giving the Technician lots of opportunity to put into practice what they have learned throughout the training course.

Automotive Electronic Principles/Testing/Diagnosis
This training course has been developed for technicians to diagnose and repair electrical components on Cars, Trucks and Bikes. For technicians to diagnose and successfully repair faults on modern electronic systems, they need to have a good understanding of how these systems work. The aim of the training course is to give the technician a better understanding of electricity, electronics, electronic components and test procedures which can be applied in the workplace to make fault finding and diagnostics easier. The course covers both theory and practical, giving the technician opportunity to practically apply the theory covered during the course.

Oscilloscope
This training course has been developed for technicians who are involved with diagnostics, repairs and electrical work in the Car, Truck and Bike industry, as more detailed system diagnosis involves signal analysis. The aim of the training course is to give the technician a better understanding of the Oscilloscope and its function and application. The course explains sensor input signals, ECU output signals and test procedures which can be applied in the workplace to make fault finding and diagnostics easier.

Foundation Braking & ABS Principle
This training course has been developed for technicians in the truck industry, dealing with Air Brake Systems. The course covers the principles of air brake technology, system identification and testing, leading to a better understanding of the Air Brake System. We can then look into how ABS (Antilock Braking Systems) can be applied to the braking system, the theory behind it and how to test the system. The course covers both theory and practical, giving the Technician plenty of opportunity to practice what they have learned throughout the course.

EBS Braking Systems
This training course is for technicians in the truck industry with a good understanding of Air Braking systems and ABS, this training course is the next stage in the development of skills to carry out fault finding and diagnosis of commercial vehicle Braking Systems. The course covers the operating principal’s function and diagnostics of various types of EBS braking systems used on commercial vehicles. The course covers both theory and practical, giving the Technician experience to put into practice what they have learned throughout the training course.

Trailer ABS/EBS
This training course is for technicians in the truck industry with a good understanding of Air Braking systems, the course covers trailer ABS and EBS systems, fault finding and diagnostic procedures including serial communication and blink code. The course covers both theory and practical, giving the Technician opportunity to practice what they have learned during the training course.
