Eclipse Brings The Next Generation of Diagnostics To The CV Show

Eclipse, the UK’s largest supplier of mulit-brand diagnostic equipment, will be returning to the CV Show on Stand 4B10 for visitors to see not only their Jaltest and EDIS diagnostics packages but also the industry’s major innovation which extends Jaltest to include a full feature Telematics facility.

This is the first time that Fleet Management and Remote Diagnostics has been offered in a single package and will revolutionise the way that fleets manage their business; bringing together the activities of  Fleet Management, Workshops, Drivers and Fleet Customers. Visitors will be able to see the product and hear how it can help them to improve their fleet revenues.

Jaltest Telematics delivers a continuous commentary on each vehicle, providing data for the fleet manager, the workshop and the driver. It provides information individually and collectively for each of the roles, ensuring that each is kept up to date on the condition and progress of the vehicle. It is designed for both trucks and trailers and is easily customized for the individual customer.

The addition of Telematics to the Jaltest range of products has not detracted from the continuous improvement and enhancements that is a feature of the Jaltest software resulting in several new versions of the software being issued each year as new models, features and brands are included in this sophisticated package. At the heart of the diagnostics package is the Testpad Extreme PC, a rugged and full function lap top which together with the powerful Jaltest software and the flexible vehicle interface built around the Link module is becoming the first choice for many of the country’s top workshops.

At the show, visitors will be able to hear why workshops of all sizes are adopting these products as their de facto standard and also to see the up to date innovations working, together with benchtest demonstrations of key modules.

Examples of the range of diagnostic capabilities contained within the Eclipse Jaltest and EDIS packages will be shown by using a vehicle simulator which will take visitors through a variety of live tests and demonstrate how this equipment could help their technicians solve problems faster and improve their workshop efficiency.
